Research is carried out in the development of algorithms and their hardware implementations for reconfiguring devices, circuits and systems as fast as possible as operating conditions change. Fast reconfiguration is required under critical conditions in order to maintain safety and security of the system. Other research activities under this area include advance algorithms forintelligent testing and fault detection, and circuit partitioning.
